Time Out 1993

We're chuffed to bits to have an exclusive Jamie Hewlett artwork as the Time Out cover, depicting the eponymous Monkey arriving in London for his starring run at the 02. Jamie is one of the most exciting artists working in the UK today and his work with Tank Girl, Damon Albarn and Gorillaz is rightly lauded. He has done covers for Time Out before but he's gone one step further this time and also created a brilliant comic strip inside the issue, telling part of the 'Monkey' story. I don't think he has created a comic strip for any publication for over 10 years. 'Monkey' is set to be the most thrilling arts event of the autumn - and Time Out, as ever, gives you a sneak preview before anyone else.
